YUCCA FINS *
Bio & Goals
Born & raised in Irvine, CA and after a decade in both SF and NYC, I’m headed back! I’ve been in production for 15+ years, developing content for brands, and have extensive experience in profile based documentaries. I’m looking to build out my portfolio and hopefully start a working relationship with Yucca!
Market Thoughts
Most legacy fin brands feel stale and old. Yucca Fins on the other hand is a breath of fresh air in a time when people are looking for more ways to connect with the ocean. The “surf industry” has lots of opportunity for fins to be a part of their rotation.
Personal Connection
Recently caught the bodysurf bug and have been making wooden hand planes! After years of abuse riding bmx/skateboarding/snowboarding, the ocean can be slightly more forgiving on the body. Fin addict and obsessed!
Content Direction
You’re doing a great job with shorts and paid advertising, but I see an opportunity for longer form/story driven content on Youtube and IG. Let’s tell your the Yucca Fins story and make content around your products/community. (Patagonia, yeti, etc).

EVent Ideas
In a time where a lot of our social interaction is online, lets flip that and use the Yucca community to build human connection.
Find an empty zone and do a monthly hang/session where you can bring the family and chill. Provide coffee, water, snacks, fins to try, surf mats, etc. If this is received well, take it to different beaches & states!
Product giveaways to a random winner and hook them up with fins/swag.
Use the community to support local businesses, beach clean ups, people that need hand.
Find like minded brands, big or small, to do exclusive products or collections.
Could organize annual trips/retreats where people can travel and feel like they have a mini crew in the water.
Peer judged “contest” (more like a jam) and winner gets a bunch of gear!
